Skywatch is a report on the day's astrology—the energy on the street for everybody—all over the Earth. The pattern changes quickly. Some days are better than others. Following the Skywatch will alert you to these shifts in energy and mood in your personal and business concerns. And help you have good timing in life. Though primarily observing from the northern hemisphere, this guide is equally relevant to the southern hemisphere despite a reverse in seasons.
Read ahead. Use the good days, the kiss days, as I call them, to schedule priority appointments, meetings, and travel. Here are the best days to handle difficult people and situations or to present your case to the boss. These are also excellent days to adventure, gamble, and put your work/ideas on the table.
Scale back your plans during stressful times/days and stick to routine, if possible. Complications are more likely on these days, moods will be uneven and out of sorts, and things may not go as planned or expected. Quack. People are more likely to be distracted, unfocused, and not at their best in these moments. You, too. These are the days to simplify your routine and avoid complications or challenges, if possible. Kids and critters are also more likely to need extra attention, especially when Mars is active.
In all, your attitude and effort count and determine whether you find success and love out in the world on the kiss days. Skywatch points out the highs and lows—the energy available to us all—the day’s biorhythm. What happens on those kiss days depends on how you play your cards and how prepared and ready you are to succeed. If timing is essential to your efforts, follow the Skywatch and the Tropical method that describes the seasons influencing us all.
BIRTHDAYS: If your birthday falls on a Quack day, do NOT assume you will have a bad year. There are so many other factors in your Solar Return, the chart that plays the movie of your next year, to consider. Much more than any day or aspect could do to dominate/influence your year ahead. It's the same thing if your birthday falls on a Kiss day. The future will be what you make it, and there are many more factors to consider in your astrological future than just the events of one day.
Stay up-to-date
You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every day’s forecast goes directly to your inbox, and the monthly reports to look ahead and plan. The yearly databook is also available for long-term planning and forecasts.
Astrology Methodology Used for Personal Readings:
Imagine you're looking at a map of the world. There are two ways to find where you are: using the compass at the top (called the tropical zodiac in astrology) or using the lines of latitude and longitude (the sidereal zodiac). Both ways work, but they point to slightly different spots.
Ayanamsha in astrology is the difference between those two map methods. It's an adjustment made to the sidereal zodiac to account for the Earth's wobble as it spins (this is still debated on why the Earth moves through zodiac signs 1 degree approximately every 72 years, but this adds a layer of complexity that can more accurately predict certain questions or knowledge seeking, as it relates to your destiny and cosmic place.)
The Tropical method is most beneficial for understanding your place on Earth, and how you relate to others. This is the recommended method for those that are new to astrology, as the spring solstice is always 1 degree Aries, and describes the Zodiac as fixed influences, rather than the mythology associated with the constellations that the Zodiac is derived from. This is also the method that is primarily used in Mundane (pronounced moo-dawn-eh) that examines the astrology of states, countries, and Earth - what Skywatch is based on.
About Ellen:
Growing up, one of my first memories was flipping through Lance’s vast collections of books to figure out the meaning of my birth chart. He would say my chart was like none he had ever seen, but I assumed he just meant that as my Grandpa. I was born with a twin brother in Pisces on the Spring Solstice March 20, 1990. The Sagittarius stellium (3+ planets in the same Zodiac) in my chart, is a core part of my personality along with Pisces, and Capricorn influences - all of which keep me adventurous/ambitioud, creative, and dedicated. When examining my Venus in Capricorn in my 3rd House of communication, for example, I find I am drawn most to artists that are either Capricorn, or have it in their chart in a way that relates to their creativity.
Last year, Lance passed away. Looking at his computer, all his tools pointed to my birth chart, and I took it as a sign to take over the mantle. I hope you’ll join me in continuing this fascinating journey in his memory and honor of his unique style.
Some additonal background on me: I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Public Administration. Raised initially in California, I moved to my birth place in Texas after backpacking through South America throughout college. I am currently traveling full-time in Central America, exploring ancient Maya astronomy practices.
I hope that you can derive the same benefits and insights, as another tool in your arsenal, for navigating this exciting and unique life. We are the product of thousands of years of Research & Development of evolution. We begin where humanity left off—embracing the stars as our ancestors did gives us clues on the individual lessons we need to learn in this life and embracing our gifts to the fullest. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Love & Light,
Ellen Marie Kimble
